Support Worker, Tow Law Durham

We are recruiting for two full-time Support Workers to join the team working in our residential service in Tow Law.

You will provide support to the residents while maintaining their dignity and empowering them to live as independently as possible. You will required to closely follow safeguarding procedures and protocols, manage service user's finances within set budgets and administer medication as prescribed.

The successful candidate will be hardworking and self-motivated, and have good interpersonal skills. You will understand the need for confidentiality and be able to deal with a broad range of challenging behaviours in a compassionate manner.

Nurse, Gosforth, Newcastle

Required, for a small home in Gosforth for 2 days a week. (2 x 12hour shifts), with potential for extra shifts if you wish.
We look after 13 residents with mental health and learning disabilities and support and help them access the community.
As a nurse you will be an asset to the home and promote an atmosphere which enables residents to live as independently and comfortably as possible.
Nurse Duties:
• Assessing residents’ physical, psychological, social and emotional needs
• Administering Care and Medication
• Maintain Records and develop care plans
• Working with other professionals to support care.
