Residential Care

Residential Care

Aspire offer a range of residential care and transitional accommodation for adults with mental health disorders, mild, moderate and acute learning disabilities, Autism, Asperger’s syndrome, Bipolar disorder, manic depression, Schizophrenia and challenging behaviour.

We currently have 9 properties located across Northumberland, Gateshead, North Tyneside and County Durham. The properties vary in size from 2 bedrooms to 18 bedrooms, several of which have en-suite facilities. Most bedrooms are used for single occupancy, however, shared occupancy can be arranged if specifically required.

We believe in offering choice and flexibility within our establishments and work with the service users to accommodate their requirements. Meal times are flexible and there is a choice of menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper, paying particular attention to healthy options and dietary requirements.

We organise regular trips and activities and encourage service users to participate and make suggestions for future events.

Nursing care is not provided at our residential homes, however, should a service user require nursing care, this will be provided by their GP, District Nurse or other registered provider. Therapeutic care is also available to service users by their selected appointed qualified professionals, who can visit service users in their residential home or be visited at their premises.
